Lights, Camera, Save!  Contest 2014 Local Winners

Maxx Walters and Evan Nielsen seniors from Creston High School were the 2014 local Lights, Camera Save! contest winners. Lights, Camera, Save! is a video contest developed by the American Bankers Association, it is a unique competition that encourages teens to use video to explore the value of savings and inspire others to become lifelong savers.  Walters and Nielsen submitted their 90 second video titled “Its’ Not Complicated”.  The two seniors worked with local elementary students to get their message across about saving money.  Mr. Anthony Donahoo , CHS East instructor was presented a Kindle Fire for the classroom and Walters and Nielsen were each presented $50 for their work on the project by First National Bank and Iowa State Savings Bank.

The winning local video was then submitted to American Bankers Association for the National judging.  Congratulations Maxx and Evan for your work on the winning local video. The video may be viewed at .
