Silver Achievement

The First National Bank mortgage team received a surprise visit last week.

On Wednesday, mortgage lenders Emily Rice and Jenna Greene received a Silver Unit Achievement Award from Iowa Bankers Mortgage Corporation (IBMC). This award, hand delivered by management with IBMC, was given to First National Bank for closing the second most Heritage loans through IBMC in 2018.

“This award is our way of recognizing and thanking banks like yours and others around the state who utilize our services,” said Nathan Smithey, vice president production with IBMC. “We give awards based on volume and we also give awards based on units or number of loans closed. We’re happy to see Creston, and that area of the state, using our program.”

Some of the IBMC secondary market mortgage products that First National Bank offers customers include Federal Housing Administration (FHA), Rural Development (RD), RuraLiving, Veterans Affairs (VA) and conventional loans. With this relationship through IBMC, First National Bank customers can receive excellent fixed-rate mortgages and the assistance IBMC provides helps expedite the processing, underwriting and closing of your loan.

“We have an excellent working relationship with IBMC,” Greene said. “They offer a wide variety of products with the biggest advantage to us being that we can offer our customers long term fixed rates and low down payment loans.”

If you’re in the market to buy a home or refinance this spring, please contact Rice or Greene. They can be reached at the First National Bank consumer location on the corner of Highway 34 and Sumner Avenue, by phone at 888-782-5599 or you can begin your mortgage application with them right now at www.fnbc.bank/mortgageapp.
