SICOG Down Payment Assistance

SICOG H-RLF Down payment Assistance Program

As a partner of Southern Iowa Council of Governments (SICOG), we are able to provide down payment assistance through the SICOG H-RFL Program.  This program was created to assist first-time homebuyers with their down payment on a home.  Loans are available for an amount up to $5,000 and will match dollar for dollar the homebuyer's own down payment funds.

SICOG H-RFL loans are available for seven years with the first two years interest and payments being deferred.  These loans are available to eligible homebuyer's in SICOG's eight-county region where a 25% match has been provided by the county, city, development group, lending institution, other businesses, or individuals.
