St. Joseph, Missouri

Join the Silver Circle for a fun filled one day trip to St. Joseph, Missouri. The day will begin with a stop at the Walter Cronkite Memorial, this is a tribute to the famous news anchor who was born in St. Joe. Next we will travel to the 2013 Chiefs’ Training Camp, which is now open to the public for viewing. Everything in this training camp is built to NFL standards and is something you won’t want to miss. Lunch is included at the Ground Round. Following lunch, we will be off to the performance by the Church Basement Ladies: A Mighty Fortress is our Basement. Following the performance we will return to the Creston area. We will leave Afton at 7:00 AM and Creston at 7:30 AM and return at 6:30 PM. The cost for the entire event is $110, all due and payable by March 10, 2014.

Join the Silver Circle today for another interesting trip of products made in IOWA. Our first stop will be in Albia at the Kness Manufacturing Co., where they make a better mouse trap. Following lunch, the next stop is Kinze Manufacturing. This company makes everything from large grain carts and giant planters to the smallest sprockets and components. The next stop will be at the Woolen Needle in Williamsburg and was featured in the fall 2010 "Quilt Sampler" magazine where their "Bountiful Harvest" pattern was highlighted in an article. This trip includes a full day with a variety of stops that both men and women will find enjoyable. The cost for the entire day is $95, all due and payable by April 10, 2014

Outlaws and Entrepreneurs

June 5-6, 2014
Join the Silver Circle when we head to Clay County Missouri and learn about the history of this area. Stops include Jessie James’ Family Farm and Museum, Watkins Woolen Mill National Historic Landmark and an overnight stay at the historical Elms Hotel and Day Spa in Excelsior Springs. A dinner theatre is scheduled for the evening and that is just day one! Day two has even more excitement and both men and women will enjoy this adventure. Tour does include motor coach transportation, overnight lodging, two lunches, one dinner, one breakfast and all tours including gratuities. Cost for the trip is $330/Double, $310/Triple and $400/Single. A deposit of $50 will hold your spot with the balance due on May 1, 2014.

Phantom of the Opera

Join the group as we head to Des Moines for dinner and the performance of Phantom of the Opera at the Des Moines Performing Arts Center. We will depart in the afternoon. $155 per person includes deluxe transportation, dinner and tickets to the performance. A $75 deposit by July 18th and balance due August 18, 2014

Door County & Mackinac Island in the Fall

It is time to enjoy many of the wonderful sites of MICHIGAN. This 7 day tour has the best of everything, from the beautiful Mackinac Island including a carriage ride and tour of the island, lunch at the Grand Hotel and an overnight stay on the island. During our stay, additional activities will include: The Fish Boil in Door County, ferry rides, dune buggy ride, visits to orchards, Cherry Train Tour, dinner at the famous Al Johnson Swedish Restaurant where there will be goats grazing on the roof. Last but not least, we will enjoy an evening performance at the Fireside Dinner theatre for an exciting performance of Les Miserables, while enjoying the lovely fall colors around every corner. Christmas Spectacular in Branson

Details for the Silver Circle trip for the amazing Christmas Shows in Branson for 2014 have been finalized. The shows include Jim Stafford, Doug Gabriel, Jonah at the Sight and Sound Theatre, The Texas Tenors, and The Duttons and the Dancing Queens. Hotel accommodations at the Hampton Inn, deluxe motor coach transportation, 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners, all tips and gratuities are included. Price is DOUBLE - $842, TRIPLE- $767, SINGLE - $1,065. A $50 deposit will hold your reservation with full payment by September 15th.
