Will the app ever go inactive if it isn’t used on a regular basis?

No. Once the app is downloaded is it there on your phone until the user determines to delete or remove it. If Internet Banking account isn’t accessed within 90 days either via computer or your App, your Internet Banking account will need to be reactivated.
