posted on Thursday, January 2, 2014 in Newsroom

Ensuring the security of your account and debit card is of utmost importance to us.  With the most recent reported security breach at Target and the possibility of it affecting 40 million cardholders, and as a result, it has affected some of our cardholders as well.  Target has stated that “anyone who made purchases by swiping their cards in U.S. Stores between November 27th and December 15th may have had their accounts exposed.  The stolen data includes customer names, credit and debit card numbers, card expiration dates and the three-digit security codes located on the backs of cards.”  For more information on the Target Breach, click here.

We have been working diligently with our card processor, Shazam, to identify cardholders who could potentially be at risk.  We have received communication in regards to this breach and have contacted all affected cardholders via a  letter.  A majority of our affected cardholders were mailed letters on Monday, December 23rd.  Our primary goal with this security breach is to protect your account.  As a result, all affected cards have been reissued with new card numbers and the compromised card will be closed out upon receiving your new card.  If you have any questions regarding how your card was affected by the Target Security Breach, please contact us at 877.782.2195.
